As part of this solicitation, we will support SacRT with Hosted Managed Services, which would entail performance of all activities in the Managed Services as well as the migration of the current on-premises SAP environment to a secured cloud environment, including the maintenance of existing SAP integrations to and from other SacRT on-premises systems. These systems include but are not limited to, Trapeze, BSI, PowerBI, Central Employee Data Management, Data Warehouse, Bank Files, iFleet Parts Inventory, FMLA data processing, benefit providers, Nationwide and ACA as well as future integrations to other SacRT systems including on-premises, cloud and/or hybrid environments.

We will support SacRT to enhance their SAP environment to provide greater efficiencies to SacRT by leveraging both previously-unused functionality as well as the implementation of third-party (3rd – party) applications. SAP Enhancement Services work will be completed on Work Order basis. While this work may be awarded to the Managed Services Contractor, it may also be awarded to other Contractors.
Cold Spring Harbor ERP System Replacement
Niti Systems is supporting Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) with an ERP system replacement. CSHL is currently using Lawson v10 platform as their system of record for financial accounting/reporting, employee benefits, payroll, grant effort reporting and procurement processing. We are supporting CSHL with the Discovery and Vendor Selection phase, which is concerned with documenting the critical CSHL functions provided by Lawson, the required performance of those functions (KPIs/Metrics) and identifying a suitable replacement platform.
We are supporting CSHL with the following Project Goals:
Analyze essential CSHL resource management functions to determine how the work gets done and document how those processes and workflows can be optimized or redesigned for better support of the dynamic CSHL operational environment.
Define every critical function of ERP in qualified and/or quantified success criteria.
Prioritize and sequence all Project work taking into consideration the value to be delivered and the associated effort, cost and risk. Understand important dependencies, how work in one area impacts others, and consider those relationships in amending processes and workflows.
Meet the budget and schedule, but accommodate required changes as needed through appropriate project governance.
Support selection and contract negotiations with best-value ERP technology provider and integrator.
MARTA ERP Assessment
Niti Systems supported the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) with advisory consulting services to perform the 2020 MARTA Oversight Committee (MARTOC) Management Audit.
As part of the audit, the Niti Systems team led the effort for the Information Technology and Information Security functions. The major focus of the audit was MARTA’s current ERP system. MARTA had initially deployed the Oracle eBusiness Suite ERP in 2006 with the last major update to the system in 2012. Our team performed an in-depth audit of the ERP system to:
Assess the extent of Oracle ERP utilization within MARTA.
Perform a comprehensive review of the existing business processes across the agency to explore opportunities to automate many manual processes related to the Oracle ERP system.
Evaluate how various Departments monitor their performance and effectiveness using the Oracle OBIEE data warehouse system bundled with the eBuinsess suite.
Port of Los Angeles ERP Implementation
Niti Systems was contracted as a prime by The City of Los Angeles Harbor Department (Harbor Department) to help them with their journey to migrate existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to a cloud-based Oracle Fusion ERP. The Niti System team and our subconsultants are working with the Harbor Department to understand their current business process, identify gaps in current practices, and make recommendations regarding how to both modify the current business process and implement new practices that will best leverage the system’s capabilities to facilitate best-in-class accounting and financial management practices through an ERP system. Niti team consists of ERP functional and technical SMEs, integration experts, reporting/data management experts, PMI certified Project Managers and ProSci certified Organizational Change Management (OCM) consultants.
